One of the first steps to begin your occupational therapy journey is going through the evaluation process with your child. During evaluation, clinicians will assess your child in areas of motor skills, sensory processing, and more in order to create a specialized plan for effective therapy. The steps to set up an evaluation are as follows:

1. Visit your child’s pediatrician and ask for a referral for an evaluation at No Limits Therapy, LLC.

2. Our front office will call within 1-2 business days, and you will schedule a date for your evaluation.  

3. Day of the Evaluation:

   • Please bring your child’s insurance card and your driver’s license.  

   • We advise you arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to scheduled evaluation time in order to complete the initial paperwork.  

     • Note: Initial paperwork can also be emailed upon request. The paperwork must be presented at the evaluation to move forward with the process.  

   • The evaluation will take approximately 1-2 hours. During this time, you are more than welcome to accompany your child to the treatment area or wait in the lobby. Upon conclusion of the evaluation, the clinician will provide education regarding results and will discuss options and plans moving forward.  

   • If the clinician’s recommended therapy services are deemed necessary and are met with your approval, you will be scheduled within 1-3 business days. 

   • Completed evaluations will be given to you and your child’s pediatrician.
